P3/4 learned about the artist Henri Matisse earlier this month, they learned about his life and how he became an artist. The class looked at some of his art and his very unique style of painting. Then the children had a go at painting their own interpretation of his famous Boats on the Riviera. They created mixed media pictures using paint, paper and pen. Don't you agree they look Fantastic?
