P6 have been learning about the digestive system as part of our Human Body topic. We’ve learnt lots of new and interesting facts about what happens when we eat our food. Today we carried out an experiment to show the process of digestion. We traced the journey of our food through our own self made digestive systems, from the crunching of the food by the teeth, into the acidic stomach and finally through the intestines.
