P3/4 will be learning about birds next week in their World Around Us lessons, this afternoon they went outside and made some lovey feeders for the birds. All the materials they used were natural and good for birds. They used apples and sunflower seeds and they added twigs to allow the birds to perch while eating. Then they tied up some of the feeders around the school grounds. They put some up high and some down low to attract lots of different birds. Some feeders even went home to encourage birds to come to pupil’s gardens.
